The international festival of lace and embroidery of Creully (12 and 13juillet 2003)

The lacemakers of the lace Academy of Lille with Wazemmes had come many. Elisabeth Dejonghe, in the center, framed some as of the its pupils. Michele Coupez, on the photograph of right-hand side also teaches the embroidery, in more of lace.
In detail, a lace of valencians with square meshs that Élisabeth reproduced according to a particularly particular old model: look at well, the corners are asymmetrical. The second detail is a Richelieu embroidery.

With the Russian stand, they were two: Irina in front of its trade and Nadia. They come from Petrozavodsk (with with dimensions of St Petersbourg). In detail, the laces which are the base of Russian lace.

Us here (on the right) with the English stand of "Downton", a small village in the south of Salisbury. Of left on the right, Ann Giscos, Irene Greenway and Pompi Parry, their professor. Lace bears, like often, the name of the city, here, it is the lace "Downton" which Pompi made me discover. In detail, a draw representing a hochet of baby. This draw forms part of the straps of a small children's trousers.
