The international festival of lace and embroidery of Creully (12 and 13juillet 2003)

Elke Schmitz, from Germany, offered an impressing choice of books on lace with Histoiry. The comite prepare the next German congress of Bad Pyrmont from the 16 to April 18, 2004 and in spite of the importance of the project (recall you to it report on Emden), Elke finds time to make lace.

Marie-jeanne (on the right) is a true artist for the realization of his needle-laces. You can admire the smoothness of work, and the choice of the colors is always in harmony with the framing.

Ernestina, by Novedrate in Italy, was accompanied by Giusepina. They make both of the lace of Novedrate by using the Cantù technique. They really impressed the public by the vertiginous speed which they handle the bobins.

Me here with my stand. I was well surrounded: on my right-hand side very discrete and quiet Marie-jeanne with the needle lace, and on my left, my Italian friends who were made hear with the rattling of the "fuselli". But it was very pleasant on a side like other. In detail, the small bib in torchon, with flax old hank 140 to supplement the ornament already carried out (bonnet and small boots).
