Novedrate (01 to September 08, 2002)
A new stand: informatic work for lace. Two Misters, computer engineers in Novedrate, use a drafting package to reproduce or create model of lace. Laces, photographs of laces or old and damaged model, are scanned then treated by a program. They are then redrawn (pricking included) on a plotting table. It acts, for the moment, of a prototype especially designed for the demonstration, but the result is astonishing.

During a creation, pricking is carried out with the assistance of a lacemaker.
