9th couvige of the lacemakers of "Point d'esprit" (Voisins le Bretonneux Mars 2003)
| Saturdays March 29 took place the 9th couvige association of
the lacemakers of the "Point of Spirit". For once this demonstration proceeded
in Voisins Bretonneux (instead of Montigny Bretonneux). Mrs. Sylvie Elambert, president of
association, organize this meeting. The lacemakers "du point d'esprit" did not
have a stand (too fascinating organization?), but association was represented by a window
furnished with lace with, of course, its famous escutcheon. After the reception around a

Joelle Milord was present at Voisins Bretonneux. We had the privilege to see working the Tulle poinct. She presented to us one of her prettier achievements in Tulle poinct entitled "Quietude". This work (on the right) was presented at the international contest textiles "wire and textile" in Berlin in 1991. The topic was "the door", Joelle opens the door of the feelings to us and the broken mirror symbolizes time.

Monique Brossard, of Marly le Roi (78) represented the house of "Filet". Monique makes usually lace with the spindles. Here, to make known what is "Filet", she did not hesitate to give up its spindles for the day.
