Offida (may 2003)

Finished the buildings, we go now inhabitant’s home; more exactly at Rita and Pépé. When I said to you that lace remained from generation to generation, I did not believe so well to say. Indeed, Rita is a lacemaker, but her daughter and her mother too. And they are not exceptions in Offida: it was thus not a myth but well a reality.

But let us see laces rather :

The for principal points are "il punto antico", "il punto venezia”, “il punto renasciemmento” and “il punto rosalina”. Rita carries out large parts: Torchon parried, table runner, Alicia, her daughter, presents one of them to us. Laces are then given to the embroidering-machines for the assembly. In detail of parried you will recognize the flower "Rosaline".

Here of other parts, also for a cloth parried and this time, you will recognize lace "Rococo" called in Italy "Cantů".
