Before going to Rimini, we had passed by Offida and believe me, that was really wonderful.

Offida is in the province of Ascoli Piceno. It extends on 49 square kilometres at its altitude is 293 Mr. It is a town of 5469 inhabitants including 2000 lacemakers! Although lace is dominating, there are many of other things to see in this small city, then we will start with a small tourist visit.

While arriving on the place, you will not find a statue of lacemaker, but a family complete: three generations of lacemakers: the grandmother, the mother and the small girl. This sculpture of 1983 is the work of Mr. Aldo Sergiacomi who was born in Offida in 1912.
