2nd International Lace meeting

The lacemakers of Juine with "Ormoy the river" in the Essonne learned lace by correspondence in the Center from Teaching of the Lace of Puy and now transmits its knowledge to the children, like with the adults. On right-hand side, an oval in Cluny.

Previously, we spoke about the lacemakers of Pithiviers, now, there is also a draughtsman: on the left, the lace drawn by Jean-Claude (the husband of Annie) realized by Madeleine.
I was allured by this "chaleil" (into Savoyard) realized by Michel Amblard. It is an oil lamp out of metal dating from the Roman time. The principle is identical to the oil lamps: one puts oil in the small tank and one lights the wick which exceeds.
