2nd International Lace meeting (Marcoussis - February 2003)

This year, February was really the winter. What imports, it is necessary some much more to discourage every boby who love lace. Also, although snow and the glaze made circulation difficult, the tradesmen and the lacemakers were on biannual of Marcoussis.

This meeting proceeded in three places close one to the other: the castle, the orange grove and a third small room where we will find the regional lacemakers presently.

At 11 a.m., all were installed and the public arrived, it was the inauguration. A small speech of welcome began the ceremony. Jacqueline spoke of the origin of lace and foot-note to us the significant number Messrs with the demonstration.
