The international festival of lace and embroidery of Creully (12 and 13juillet 2003)

In spite of the lacemaker activity very rich in this mid-July, Claudette and Michel Bouvot had answered the invitation of Space Cultural and deposited some work. Among works, this cushion of marriage which you will see in detail, like this castelet and puppets made out of lace by the children of the school of Sannerville.

As you understood, much things to be seen in this weekend of July. Another site, that I did not have time to photograph, was also place of exposure: an artisanal factory of umbrella accomodated the sunshades, marchionesses and hats out of lace. H2O(it is the name of the workshop) will accomodate you all the year (except in January) to show you their knowledge to make and propose their production of umbrellas H2O to you all more refined the ones than the others.

This time still, Claudette and Michel Bouvot and all the members of Association Laces and Blondes of Caen and Courseulles levelled us with a superb demonstration. Opinion of all, it will be difficult to better do in two years. All was perfect, as well diversity as the quality of the exhibitors, as for the framework of the castle of Creully, it was simply splendid. Then, with in two years, for a new adventure. It is sworn, we will be there!

Do not forget to go to make a turn on the site of Michel, you will find a report there on this demonstration and much of new information, like a forecast of voyage for the German congress of 2004 with, perhaps of the stops to take congressmen in various cities of France north.
