The Market of Bonheiden (September 2003)
I took the operation on the way, but I believe to have understood that it was necessary to lay out wire, silk, lurex or other fibres according to the choice and the desired position, then to pose over a film (mosquito net kind to maintain the whole), to whitewash with a good layer of adhesive with wallpaper. It is then enough to withdraw film and to let dry. The children wanting to see the result at once, Francis placed at the disposal of dry the hair (to accelerate the process of drying). Each child set out again with his chief of work.
Here a hat carried out in this manner, an example among so much of others to use the parts carried out. We had made this kind of work with Martine Bruggeman during my studies in Bruges. With the place of the adhesive, it was cotton or paper, it was very fun and the results are often amazing.
