Vila do Conde
The first week, of Workshops were proposed to the lacemakers. Those were animated by the various countries represented, in particular by Bulgaria, Australia, Spain, England, Denmark, Canada and France. Those took place in the very recent public library " José Regis ".
The equipment placed at the disposal of the lecturers was very complete: microphone with access Internet, retro-projector, video-projector, video tape recorder....

| Denmark was very noticed with its show a little " fashion parade ". | Rosanna presented its small Sebourg " village " which starts to discover and appreciate lace to finish by part of the thesis on the handkerchief helped by Ana Paula for the translation in English. The explanations on the language of the handkerchief made well laugh the assembly. |
