Vila do Conde

Sunday 4: the lacemakers of Vila Do Conde were invited to a meal at the restaurant of the Artisanale fair for the festival of the lacemakers: more than 180 lacemakers were joined together. A new châpiteau had been drawn up for their demonstration.

Before the demonstration, a meal at the restaurant of the festival was been useful, in the presence of Mr. Mario Almeida, with the whole of the lacemakers of Vila Do Conde like to the exposing lacemakers. The lacemakers of Vila Do Conde offered to a gift to M the Mayor who obviously was very touched by it. Then the anthem of the Portuguese lacemakers was entonné by the guests. At the time of this anthem, the whole of the lacemakers were held the hand and it was really very moving. At the end of the meal, each lacemaker received a gift on behalf of the organizers.
