Vila do Conde

Portuguese were intrigued to see me working on a flat pillow and with small reels.On the left, a dancer of the traditional group tried brilliantly to manipulate reels, she got well enough out of it, for a very good reason, she was a lacemaker ! On the right, this girl found easy to work with four reels (I realized then a point of spirit). She tried, but has of to recognize that it was more difficult than she believed, in spite of few reels.

Here my achievements of the week: The pendentive one is jewels very popular in Portugal: at the time of the festivals, tired ladies carried them around the neck and was representatif richness of the family, more there was and more the family was fortunate.
