Novedrate (01 to September 08, 2002)
| Lombardy is the
obligatory stopover if you pass in Italy. Do not forget especially to stop in Novedrate to
greet Ernestina and Il Sindaco. Do not hesitate either to speak lace with people whom you
will meet: here everyone make lace. Discution are for the creation of a museum in the
commune. You will be informed on this site. This "Mostra" is the occasion
to celebrate all the lacemakers. Here not of secrecy: if you wish to know a particular
point, there will be always somebody to initiate you. For tourism, made the walk on the Lake Como with the shuttle, you will see, it is superb. You will visit, also, the museum of the silk of Como. And then, with a score of kilometers, do not forget Milan and its famous "Duomo". Thanks with all the organizers, as well official as voluntary for their kindness and their availability. In Novedrate, we were as in our family. |
