their area. Those work for the parishes and the churches.
In this museum will also discover a dress of Haute couture, carried by Naomie
Cambell. It was carried out by two lacemakers (the mother and the daugther) of Offida:
Laudadio Gabrielle and Marinucci Domenica., the fringes are made truths English spindles,
lighter than the Italian spindles. |

Pro Loco - Comune di Offida (AP). Italy:
Pro Loco, represented by Rita Cocci (in the center) and Giuseppe
Laudadio (the son of Grabrielle quoted above), organizes each year the contest of the
"Gold Spindle". This contest, reserved to the natives of the Commune of Offida,
gathers some 100 participants! The topic of the contest is known only one month before the
deposit of works, with always a specificity (gold wire, particular dimension) so that work
is completed in assigned time. The "judges" are senior lacemakers. With the exit
of the contest, the parts are exposed during a little more than one month, you will be
