Novedrate (01 to September 08, 2002)

In Novedrate, everyone "lace", finally, it is the impression which the many visitors left me. Here, not of scuffle, but a continuous flood visitors in the two reserved rooms: the general-purpose room and large a châpiteau contiguous. The stands and panels are on the circumference, which leaves place for decoration: flowers, plants scatter this space. A place is reserved for what is called here "Primo Piano"? .The inauguration started with some speeches. Various personalities were present, among which M. Serafino Grassi, "Sindaco" of Novedrate, Mrs. Ernestina Marelli, president of "Comitato Novedratese Promozione del Pizzo", Mr. Mirko Briganti "Asserore Comunale" organizing of "Mostra Internazionale", M. Ettore Albertoni, "Assessore alla cultura Regione Lombardia", M. Edgardo Arosio, "Assessore alla cultura, Provincia di Como".

The ribbon was then cut by Misters Albertoni and Grassi. The official visit could start:

The opening of the demonstration by the official ones.	The visit of M the Delegate to the culture and M the mayor to the French stand.

At present, you are ready to follow Ernestina. We will start with the various delegations then will leave a big part to the exposure of the lacemakers of Novedrate.
