Couvige of Puy in Velay (October 2002)

We continue with the lacemakers of Ecully (on the left), my pleasant neighbors who work on traditional trades of Puy, on the right "Art of Lace in Burgundy" represented by many lacemakers of which the secretary (in the center) and the new president of association (on the right).

We remain in Burgundy with Rose who realizes with brilliance of splendid points of spirit (on the left). The church Saint Eustace of Auxerre had a relic considered as invaluable as much for art that for the religion:
Splendid roll of material decorated blue silk bizantinne of four large gold eagles offered by the impératrice Placidi to Ravenne into 448 to wrap the corp large bishop. Authentic documents make it go up at the time same of German Saint. The imperial eagles, to the spread wings with half, indicate the origin of this remarkable work of Art bizantin.
