Couvige of Puy in Velay (October 2002)

Us here with the result of the contest. the topic of this contest was the stained glass. More than 30 lacemakers took part in it. Here a small outline:

After a small speech of introduction, Mrs. Fouriscot proclaims the result of the contest. The Topic Was "The Stained glass". Mrs. the Mayor (photo of right side) also spoke to congratulate all the lacemakers. She underlined the significant role of the lacemakers in the conservation of our inheritance.

1st price of the jury and 1st price of the public: Mrs. Dziuba MC of Paris. 2nd price: Eva of England, the dove of lace peace the needle-point. 3rd price: Daniele Langeais d' Indre and the Loire in the honor of the marriage of Anne of England. 4th price: Mr. Bouquard de Joué Turns. The only man lacemaker of the couvige of Puy-in-Velay.

For XIIIème Victories of Lace, the selected topic is "the Tales". The date to be retained is on October 18, 2003. At the next year....
