Coudekerque-Branche (in May 4 and 5, 2002)
May the 4 and 5 2002 proceeded with Coudekerke-connects, in the North of France, "
the International Festival of Lace ". Coudekerque being a city close to the sea, on
the Coast of Opal, the selected topic was " the Sea " in all its forms: water,
fishing, the beach....
The participant(e)s with this festival are lace associations, private individuals, craftsmen and tradesmen, all impassioned. They came from France but also from various countries of Europe: Belgium, Germany, Spain... and of Tchéque republic.
We will begin our visit with the stand of organizing Association: that of the Sewing room of the Lacemakers of Coudekerque-Branche.

This giant Flemish square was set up for the beginners who wanted to initiate themselves with lace. We will re-examine it presently: it indeed had much success!
