But, there are no only trades and spindles at Mr Noël: there is also lace. I will show you only one small sample, with this splendid paddle of priest made at the point of Luneville and this embroidered Lorraine cap hand, the embroidery is, on this work, more significant than lace.

I make a point of thanking Mister and Mrs Noël to have granted part of their time to us and to have revealed their treasures in all modesty to us. Thank you for their cordial reception and their kindness. We hope to re-examine them very soon in a future meeting lacemaker.
