We pass now to " the trades " or " squares " of lacemakers who have fortunately, evolved/moved well since.

That of left is one of the first trades of Mirecourt which still requires the raising of work. That of the center , called " Belin " lays out, this time, of a small roller to avoid going up lace. That makes it possible to make the linear lace of way (to the meter).Vous will notice the leather posed on the roller in order to gain place for the spindles. As for the third (that of right-hand side), it was very practical to carry out the corners: a hinged plate is dug in its center. It is a Lorraine trade of 1902. Prickings were made, at the time, on pigskin.
